EnquêtesRésumé : "Research has emphasized the importance of practice learning to social work qualifying education but has tended to feature social work educator and student perspectives more strongly than the views of those responsible for assessing students' practice in the field. This article draws on 195 responses to a postal questionnaire sent at two points in time to practice assessors working with students from nine social work qualifying programmes run in six higher education institutions collected as part of the evaluation of the new social work degree qualification in England." Formation professionnelle # Travail socialRésumé : "This article starts from the narrative turn in the humanities and the social sciences in general and social work in particular to explore the study of fictional narratives in social work education. Rhetoric is presented as an important perspective for social work by focusing on the work of the rhetorician and literary critic Kenneth Burke (1897–1993), specifically on his theory of dramatism. The dramatistic pentad is introduced as an analytical tool to study fictional narratives. In a case study, a play and a film by a Dutch–Flemish theatre collective are jointly analysed by students from the Master of Social Work and Welfare Studies programme at a Flemish university. This rhetorical perspective gives social work students the opportunity not only to study fictional narratives, but also to reflect upon their own practice." Sciences sociales :Sciences sociales -- RechercheRésumé : "We draw on a case study evaluation of two networked cohorts of practitioner researchers in a children's services national social work agency in Scotland, one of the four home nations of the UK. We value the contribution of previous reflections on whether practitioner research has or ought to have special methods and on the particular evidence or knowledge yielded by practitioner research projects. However, we are concerned to elucidate the meaning of practitioner research as it is undertaken by social work professionals, through an exploration of how social workers navigate the deceptive waters of their research process and experience. Drawing on an interactionist analysis of diverse data from these two cohorts, we aim to depict how engaging in such practices shapes and is shaped by the career of their professional minds and identities."
