AttachementRésumé : "Therapies for children and young people that using ‘holding’ as an intervention for severe difficulties with attachments are controversial and raise many questions. At least one major professional organisation has stated that these therapies should be banned. This paper discusses the implications of a study of a service for children (and their families where appropriate) described as having attachment difficulties or a diagnosis of attachment disorder and where ‘holding’ techniques are employed as part of the therapeutic intervention. The views of a range of stakeholders (including children, young adults who had previously used the service, purchasers, outside professionals, and staff) about this service were collated directly by interview." AutonomisationRésumé : "Social-work theory and practice have always been closely related to the ideology and social context of the welfare state. A recent shift that has important consequences for European social work is the growing emphasis on the activation of people in poverty. For European countries, social work is challenged when confronted with the need to ‘activate’ people falling through the cracks of the labour market. In this article, we investigate the perceptions of social workers regarding activation." Permalink : http://cdocs.helha.be/pmblln/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=18443

Même si tout n'est pas idyllique au pays des tulipes, les étudiants y ont aperçu un usager davantage au coeur du travail social qu'en France.
