Titre : The impact of global warming on Aedes aegypti’s worldwide spread Type de document : TFE / Mémoire Auteurs : Lison Guillaume, Auteur ; Marcus Blagrove, Directeur de la recherche Editeur : Montignies-sur-Sambre : Helha. Langues : Français (fre) Mots-clés : biologie médicale Index. décimale : TFE Bio Med TFE Biologie médicale Résumé : Global warming is nowadays a worldwide major concern. As the temperatures are increasing, and will distinctly continue to increase, questions arise about the Aedes aegypti global distribution. Indeed, this mosquito is a vector of several arbovirus : Yellow fever virus, Chikungunya virus, Dengue virus and Zika virus. These viruses cause several deadly outbreaks among the world, for that reason, scientists would like to have a precise knowledge about where can the Aedes aegypti survive and be fertile. This study will evaluate the impact of temperature on both male and female gametes and is meant to lead the way on research about accurate global distribution of the mosquito, based on the capacity of the Aedes aegypti to reproduce, depending on the temperature.
