La difficulté d’accès à l’habitat ne vient pas uniquement du fait que les loyers soient élevés. En effet, il y a aussi la qualité et le nombre de ces logements qui sont remis en cause. Il faut trouver un équilibre entre ces deux notions. Les AIS et les Sociétés de Logements de Service Public proposent des logements de qualité à loyer réduit grâce aux subventions publiques. L’assistant social pourra tenter de comprendre la situation des personnes précarisées en créant une relation de confiance avec elles. On se rend compte que la problématique de l’accès au logement pour les personnes précarisées n’est pas qu’une question technique ou économique mais également, et surtout, une question d’intégration sociale, pour laquelle le rôle des AS apparaît fondamental."
