Résumé :	The most recent health crises related to materials in contact with foodstuffs concern non-specifically materials regulated at European level (regulation EC 1935/2004): printing inks [Clemente et al. (2016)], paper and board [Biedermann et al. (2011)], etc. Migration without direct contact with food has been reported early in 90’s and this related in particular to mineral oils and printing inks [Grob et al. (1991)]. Paper and board attract most of the attention as they are extensively used alone or in combination with plastic materials and are potentially an important reservoir of contaminants. In this context, the ability of advanced modelling and preventive approaches to manage the risk of contamination from paper and board has been tested. This study investigates then the risk a contamination for a particular class of migration problem, where cardboard is used behind of a polypropylene layer without any contact with foodstuffs.
