Résumé :	Tension band plating (TBF) has been pitted as the best method for correcting the angular deformities and limb length discrepancies (LLD) in growing children. In this review we examined the superiority of the tension band plating over other methods of growth modulation, in terms of safety and efficacy. As per the current literature, in angular deformities TBP has similar correction rates with lesser complications. However in LLD the results are less promising.
